Andy Lloyd, Chief Executive

Andy Lloyd is a software innovator with more than 20 years of experience at high growth companies, ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. In his role at NetSuite, Lloyd led both digital marketing, ecommerce, and retail vertical teams both from a product and new business perspective. Prior to joining NetSuite, Lloyd was the CEO of Fluid Inc., where he led the company’s strategy, innovation, and growth. Under his leadership, Fluid Inc. more than tripled its annual revenue and improved profitability year-over-year. In addition, Lloyd drove new business, adding key brands to the portfolio, as well as driving geographic expansion. As an entrepreneur, Lloyd was the founder and CEO of Chariteam, which provided a SaaS solution for online fundraising. He was also a founding team member of Diba Inc.

Lloyd has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stanford University, where he was also captain of the swim team, leading the Cardinal swimmers to an NCAA championship and setting records for the largest margin of victory and the highest point total in NCAA history. Lloyd was ranked among the top 25 swimmers in the world in 1991 and competed in the Olympic Trials in 1998 and 1992.


Kevin Trosian, Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Trosian brings over 20 years of experience in technology/software, operations and financial infrastructure/transactions to 3PL Central. Prior to joining, Kevin was CFO of Shift Media, a SaaS provider of software and tools for collaboration in digital media. Earlier in his career, Kevin was an SVP at Global Eagle Entertainment and ran various functions in finance, operations, and strategy. Kevin was also a VP at both Power-One, Inc. (acquired by ABB) and Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. (acquired by Intel and M-A/COM) where he led M&A, IR and capital raises, directed restructuring efforts and implemented financial controls, among other corporate responsibilities. Earlier in his career, Kevin was a sell-side analyst and VP at Bank of America (f/k/a Montgomery Securities) and performed research on heart transplant patients at the UCLA Medical Center. Kevin earned a BA degree in English, with a Pre-Med emphasis, from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California.

When not roaming the halls of 3PL Central, he can be found with his family on the beaches of Los Angeles and around the world.


Sheridan Richey, Chief Technology Officer

Sheridan brings over 25 years of development experience to the company in healthcare, library science and electronic meeting industries. Prior to this role, Sheridan served as CTO at SirsiDynix, and previously as VP of Software Development and Product Management. With SirsiDynix, Sheridan oversaw their move to the cloud in fulfilling their BLUEcloud vision.

Before that, Sheridan was the front-end architect and VP of Engineering for AdvancedMD and pioneered the first true web-based, cloud application in healthcare. Sheridan is passionate about Agile development and is both a Certified Scrum Master and Product Owner.


Rachel Trindade, Chief Marketing Officer

With more than 20 years across Marketing, Product Management, Customer Success and Field Operations, Rachel’s extensive go-to-market and marketing management experience has driven dynamic growth for multiple organizations. Having supported two IPOs and integrated numerous companies through mergers and acquisitions, Rachel leads high-growth organizations to even greater revenue growth. Most recently Rachel served as the Global VP of Marketing at Teletrac Navman, part of Fortive (NYSE: FTV), where she led the global marketing organization across four continents for demand generation, brand, and product marketing programs. Prior to that she served as Vice President of Marketing at HireRight.

Rachel began her career in supply chain at PFSweb where she worked across numerous customer success and marketing roles to help grow the business’ third-party logistics and business process outsourcing business.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.


Dan Salazar, Chief Revenue Officer

With more than 20 years of sales experience, Dan brings a track record of growing early-stage companies into multi-million dollar businesses. Prior to joining 3PL Central, Dan was the Vice President of Sales for SnackNation where he was responsible for building and leading a team of more than 50 sales professionals to consistently achieve aggressive revenue goals. During his tenure, SnackNation was recognized as Inc. 5000’s 24th fastest growing company in the US and LA’s 3rd fastest growing company by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Dan’s commitment to driving revenue growth while fostering an amazing culture, has helped grow some of Southern California’s most successful organizations. His passion for building cultures that enable and inspire his colleagues to do their best work has helped drive the success of many of these organizations in delivering game-changing solutions across several industry verticals.

Jennifer Albert, Vice President of People 

Jen is a results-focused strategic People & Culture leader. Bringing more than 10 years of B2B experience across organizations of various industry, stage, and size, she has a demonstrated track record of delivering organizational transformation. Jen’s extensive focus on culture and engagement, talent management, performance management, compensation and benefits, and leadership has helped organizations convert business goals and visions into people and culture initiatives delivering organizational alignment. Prior to 3PL Central, Jen was the Director of People and Culture at Nearmap where she held a global remit and helped the organization grow and scale, delivering 200% headcount growth while simultaneously executing on the organizations engagement strategy resulting in best-in-class engagement and improved employee retention. 

 Jen holds an MBA from Mississippi State University and a BS in psychology from Central Methodist University. When not working, Jen and her family like to get out and enjoy the outdoors of Utah.

Amit Kumar, Vice President of Product

 Amit Kumar is passionate about product, with more than 20 years of experience building software products in the web, cloud, and SaaS worlds, specializing in data and analytics products. Prior to joining 3PL Central, Amit was Chief Product Officer of Nicus, where he led all aspects of product management and was responsible for modernizing the platform and bringing new products to market. Amit has held leadership roles in startups, as well as Fortune 100 companies. He cofounded Decision Street, a SaaS startup serving the hospitality industry, and led a successful exit. He also led product and SaaS transformation at Silverpop and then at IBM in its Commerce and IoT business units. Amit’s passion lies in building new and innovative products while continuing to focus on simplification. 

Amit has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, a Master of Science in Materials Sciences and Engineering from Virginia Tech, and a Master of Business Administration from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Amit is based in Atlanta and when not working, Amit can be found hanging out with his wife and two beautiful girls, as well as traveling the world. 


David Miller, General Manager, Platform Services

With a unique background in both the supply chain and software development industries, David has been one of the primary architects of our award-winning, cloud-based warehouse management products. His background includes such diverse posts as branch manager for C.H. Robinson, one of the world’s largest third party logistics (3PL) providers, Vice President of Technology for Logistix Services and Director of IT for B.E. Logistics Inc. David’s duties include managing the lifecycle of our products, including roadmap planning, development scheduling, specification writing and training. His efforts have helped 3PL Central grow our unique users by more than 200% on an annual basis.

David has been certified as a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California.


Dave Spellman, Vice President, Customer Success

Dave Spellman brings over 20 years of Customer Success, Engineering and Operations experience in the b2b SaaS world to 3PL Central. Prior to joining 3PL Central, Dave lead the Customer Experience efforts for the Compliance Solutions division of ADP. Prior to ADP Dave was the Vice President of Customer Success at Kareo, a leading SaaS provider in the healthcare space. At Kareo he oversaw the growth of the Customer Success organization during a period of hypergrowth that saw Kareo grow by more than 500% from startup to an industry leader.

Dave also previously lead the Professional Services organization at HireRight and helped the company grow to become the number one global provider in its industry. Dave has also held a number of leadership positions in other technology companies including Digital Map Products and Tone Software.

Dave holds a BS in Business Finance from California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

C. Jason Payne, Board of Directors

C. Jason Payne is a founder of Mainsail Partners. In addition to co-managing the firm, Jason is an active advisor to Mainsail CEOs through his role as a board member for Mainsail’s portfolio companies. Jason’s background as an entrepreneur and senior executive provides valuable experience, which he shares with management teams making the transition from bootstrapping to investing for growth. Earlier in his career, Jason co-founded a venture-backed software company and held a variety of roles with American Dental Partners, a dental practice management company now owned by JLL Partners after a 2012 take-private. During his tenure with ADPI, Jason helped grow the business from start-up to over $130 million in revenues and through its 1998 IPO. Jason began his career with Summit Partners, a leading global private equity and venture firm. Jason received an A.B. in International Relations from Stanford University.

In 2010, Jason teamed with Gavin Turner and John Griscavage (CEO of PlayMaker CRM) to start the Madrone Foundation, a private foundation with the goal of assisting the financially challenged to pay for healthcare and education expenses. Jason also sits on the advisory board of the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC), a division of the Smithsonian Institute.

Emily Azevedo, Board of Directors

Emily is an Operating Partner at Mainsail Partners and works with Mainsail’s portfolio companies to drive improvements in talent, including executive recruiting, leadership development, compensation, and assessment.

Prior to Mainsail, Emily spent three years at Heidrick & Struggles as an Engagement Manager in the Global Technology & Services Practice, focused on executive level placements for venture capital and private equity-backed portfolio companies.

Emily began her career in 2006 in consulting, where she engaged on several US-based cross-continental projects in India, China, Hong Kong, and Brazil. She moved to São Paulo, Brazil in 2008 and joined an executive search boutique dedicated to executive and board level positions across a variety of industries. Prior to repatriating back to the US in 2013, Emily served as the Managing Director for the Brazil subsidiary of Altimetrik, an IT multinational consultancy focused on ERP, cloud, and mobile app development.

Emily holds a Bachlor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Business Administration from Ibmec São Paulo in Brazil.


David Novak, Board of Directors

David Novak has over two decades of industry experience in business development and sales leadership roles at companies such as Oracle, Siebel, Sterling Software and Accenture, as well as one of the leading providers of cloud-based supply chain management solutions, SPS Commerce. David spent more than nine years as the Executive Vice President of Sales & Business Development for SPS, where he helped the firm become one of the most successful public SaaS companies in the US.

He has also contributed to the success of several startup companies such as nQuire Software and Information Advantage. Mr. Novak graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Santa Clara University.


Jennifer Sherman, Board of Directors

Jennifer Sherman is the Chief Product and Experience Officer at NMI where she heads the firms Product Management, Support and Success teams.  She has over 20 years of experience in product management leadership. She has previously served as Senior Vice President of Product and Strategy at Aptean, SVP of Product Management at NAVEX Global and SVP of Product and Strategy at Kibo Software.  Jennifer began her career at Oracle where she was the Product Manager (and later Product Director) for Oracle's Warehouse Management and Order Management solutions.

Jennifer received her BS and MS from Stanford University in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management. She’s a TEDx speaker, a storyteller, a glass sculptor and a passionate advocate for the advancement of women into leadership roles in technology.


John Watkins, Board of Directors

John is an expert in the 3PL and warehousing industries – with specialties in warehouse operations, freight brokerage, international cargo and supply chain logistics. Having spent the last 20 years in various hands-on roles in the 3PL industry, John brings a unique operator’s perspective to the software company. With the collaboration of countless 3PLs and warehouses, John has led the development and expansion of 3PL Central and its growing base of Cloud-based software products. Prior to entering the 3PL industry in the early 1990’s, John served as a Controller for Syncor International, a radio pharmaceutical drug distribution company (+$300mm sales). John earned his CPA and is former alumni of KPMG Peat Marwick.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting with a minor in Spanish from the University of Utah. He earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Los Angeles.


Nancy Rohman, Board of Directors

Nancy is the co-founder and served as President of 3PL Central. During her tenure, Nancy was responsible for the day-to-day operations, accounting/finance and strategic execution of delivering the Company’s products and services to a growing and expanding customer base. In 2015, she was responsible for spearheading the investment raise which successfully culminated in the $17.5 million growth equity raise from 3PL Central’s financial partner, Mainsail Partners.

Prior to launching 3PL Central with John, Nancy worked for many years as an investment banker for Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan. She began her career in accounting for the Big 4 accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. Nancy holds a Bachelor’s of Administration Degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. She also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Nancy earned her CPA and is a member of the California Bar.
