Can I have 35 customers - all with
different pricing?
One of 3PL Warehouse Manager's unique features is the Billing Wizard
that allows you to setup different pricing for each customer.
Once set up, the Billing Wizard assists your staff in getting the
price right the first time and all the time. The Billing Wizard
provides an online calculator so the math is always correct.
Is it hard
to convert customers to 3PL Manager?
No. The beauty of 3PL Warehouse Manager is that you can use it for
one customer or 1,000 customers; ;for one warehouse or 1,000 warehouses.
It is truly scalable. As your needs and customer base grow
3PLWarehouse Manager will be able to support you.
Can I use
3PL Warehouse Manager for more than one warehouse?
Yes. 3PL Warehouse Manager was designed for easy deployment
in one or 1,000 warehouses all linked together via the Internet.
What makes 3PL Warehouse Manager so powerful is the ability to add
warehouses or customers with only a few clicks of your mouse.
And since all data is securely stored centrally, all reporting can
include all inventory and trasactions across your whole network
of warehouses.
How do I convert
my existing WMS history to 3PL Manager cost?
If your customers require that their inventory history be converted,
we can import most database information to 3PL Warehouse Manager
for a nominal fee. We recommend however, you start "clean"
on 3PL Warehouse Manager and offer your customers access to the
"old" history via your "old" method.
How much history
does 3PL Manager maintain?
History is purged after two years but we can burn your data onto
readable CDs at your request. In addition, all data is also
archived and securely stored by 3PL Central.
What if a
customer leaves - can I purge their information?
Yes, if a customer chooses to use a different public warehouse,
you can submit a request 3PL Central support requesting that the
customer and its data be removed from the system.
Is 3PL Manager RF ready?
Yes & No. 3PL Warehouse Manager can accept data from most
scanning devices, but, as you know, RF usage in a given warehouse
can vary greatly. As such, before you begin using RF with
3PL Warehouse Manager we will need to do a little more work on our
end beginning with a comprehensive discussion of how you deployed
RF and what data fields you intend to populate using via scanners.
Please contact your account manager to coordinate RF integration.
My
warehouse is already set up with locations. Do I have to change
them?
No, 3PL Warehouse Manager uses a standard alpha-numeric labeling
system that prints on your reports. So, as long as you fall
with in that same alpha-numeric logic you simply use your existing
locations in 3PL Warehouse Manager and you are good to go.
How do
I sign up?
3PL Warehouse Manager
is a web-based subscription program so is all you need is a valid
credit card and e-mail address. To start using 3PL Warehouse
Manager today, simply click on the "30 Day Free Trial"
link on our website and follow the instructions. This automated
process will create your own custom database on our servers and
you will be up and running within minutes.
What
web browsers can I use to access 3PL Warehouse Manager?
To maintain
the highest level of security and performance, 3PL Warehouse Manager
currently only works with Microsoft's Internet Explorer. We
recommend you use the latest version of IE - version 7.0.
We are currently testing with Mozilla's Firefox and AOL's Netscape
so stay tuned.
What
if a programming change is critical to my operation?
3PL Warehouse Manager
is designed for ultimate flexibility and to accommodate the many
nuances of third party logistics. However, from time to time, certain
warehouse practices will require programming changes. As such,
if your need cannot be solved with the existing functionality and
is a change that will benefit the other users of 3PL Warehouse Manager,
we will make the change. If your change is so unique to your
operation, you can upgrade to 3PL Enterprise and we will gladly
make all the changes you require. Work with your 3PL Central account
manager to coordinate these efforts.
What
if I have a suggestion that I think will improve 3PL Warehouse Manager?
We
love suggestions so please let us know what you think will improve
the program. Please submit new feature requests on our New
Feature Request Form.

3PL Central is based in Orem, Utah.

STARTED
Is
there a sign up or set up fee?
There are no fees to get started with 3PL Warehouse Manager.
There are set-up fees for certain advanced add-ons such as UPS processing.

Is there any
hardware or software to purchase?
3PL Warehouse Manager is a web-based program so you will only need
Microsoft Internet Explorer and an Internet connection. We
recommend a high-speed internet connection for optimal performance.
Do I have to sign long-term contracts?
No, the service you sign up for is month to month and you may cancel
at any time.
How long does it take to set up the
service?
3PL Warehouse Manager can be set up over the web in a matter of
minutes. However depending on the inventory details you wish
to track such as item details, warehouse locations, customer communications
etc., it may take a little more time to set up. One of the
nice things about 3PL Warehouse Manager is that you can set up customer
information and item details over time... thus minimizing the time
for initial set-up.
How can I
get help setting up my account?
You can get help setting up your 3PL Warehouse Manager account by
attending a live online training course or viewing our Quick
Start pre-recorded video. And, of course, you can always
speak with one of our account managers by calling us at 1-801-494-0512
and selecting option #1.
TRAINING
& SUPPORT
Will I need training?
3PL Warehouse Manager
was developed for 3PLs just like you. As such the logic in
the program mirrors most 3PL businesses making training, other than
reading the online help manual, minimal. We also have pre-recorded
demos that will help bring you up to speed quickly. However,
3PL Manager is a very complex program and depending on your use
of the program training may be required.
Where do I get training?
When you subscribe to 3PL Warehouse Manager, you receive a credit
for 3 hours of free training that will take place via a live online
training session with call-in. You can chose to receive your
three hours all at once or in one-hour sessions. We also offer an
online instruction manual, free 24 hour e-mail support, and periodic
helpful hints sent directly to your in-box.
If I need
more live training how much does it costs?
Additional live training is billed at $75 hour for up to 5 web-conference
attendees. Each additional attendee is $15 per hour.
We recommend you try to use 3PL Warehouse Manager on your own using
the online help manual and our free email support service first,
but it is your choice.
CUSTOMIZATION
Can I
customize 3PL Warehouse Manager if it does not meet all of my needs?
3PL Warehouse Manager
is a highly flexible program designed to meet most day-to-day requirements
of a 3PL Warehouse and has more power than you may think.
However if you need customization, we do offer a version of 3PL
Warehouse Manager called 3PL Enterprise that is hosted separately
and can be customized to your specifications. If
you think you need 3PL Enterprise please contact your 3PL Central
account manager.
Can I
use my own Programmers and IT Department to make customized changes?
Typically 3PL Central
will host and perform all customization to 3PL Warehouse Manager
or 3PL Enterprise at a contract price or flat hourly rate.
However, like 3PL Warehouse Manager we are very flexible so if we
cannot convince you of the benefits of using 3PL Central call us
at 1-801-494-0512 and we can discuss possible alternatives.
How do
I integrate 3PL Warehouse Manager with and existing semi automated
warehouse?
3PL Warehouse Manager
was designed with all sorts of interfaces and will work well with
warehouse automation. However, in order to integrate 3PL Warehouse
Manager with your warehouse automation we will require a detailed
integration plan that will more than likely require 3PL Enterprise,
a site visit by a 3PL Central Consulting team, and a implementation
plan. If you would like more information please give me a

VIEWS
How do my customer log on to see
inventory information?
You provide your customer with unique passwords
and by using a log-on link from your web site they will be able
to view inventory information online and in real-time.
What do my Customers see?
There are three different security levels
for what customers will see. When you give your customers
access, they can see a variety of inventory reports such as stock
status, inventory activity and transaction history and details including
your charges. If you allow them, they can also enter shipping
orders directly into 3PL Warehouse Manager
Can I limit what my Customers see?
Yes, customers are entitled to view reports
and enter shipping orders only if you provide a link from your website
and a unique password. There are three levels of customer
passwords, each with their own level of access and viewing.
What if I am acting in 4PL capacity,
can I limit what is seen by the end customer?
Yes, through password set-up your customer can view inventory activity
including charges while limiting their customer to view only inventory
activity
BILLING
& PAYMENTS
How will I receive my statement?
You may view your invoice and usage history anytime by logging into
your 3PL Warehouse Manager account.
Can you bill me instead of using a
credit card?
No, our billing is only setup for credit card billing. We
take Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
How hard is it to change the credit
card on file?
You can change the credit card you have on file at any time by logging
on to your 3PL Warehouse Manager, click on Company and Edit Compnay
to edit your credit card information.
Can I add more services after I sign
up for the basic service.
Yes, you can add
or delete optional service at any time -- you are only charged for
what you use during a month. However, most add-on services
do require some set-up (i.e. UPS processing) so you will have to
contact us once you are ready to add-on.
Regarding
the $100 per hour phone support, does this apply to each call whether
it is a 2 minute call or 60 minute call?
Hourly
support is $100 per hour and billed in 15 minute increments per
call. So a 2 minute call is $25. And a 17 or 29 minute call would
be $50.
What day of the month do you bill?
We bill on the first day of the month for all the charges incurred
during the previous month. If you sign up in the middle of
the month, the recurring charges will be prorated for that month.
Our business is based outside the U.S.,
but we have a credit card. Can we still use your service?
Yes, but please remember all measurements in 3PL Warehouse Manager
at this time are in inches. A metric conversion is due out
in fourth quarter 2006.
I don't have a credit card. What can
I do?
We do require a debit or credit card to activate service. However,
VISA does offer a service called
the VISA Gift Card where you can purchase a debit card for a fixed
amount of money and refill the card's balance as needed. Some customers
use this as payment for our service if they are not able to use
a credit card.
Is there a
money-back guarantee?
We recommend you begin with our 30 day free trial offer so you are
comfortable 3PL Warehouse Manager will meet your needs. Once
you subscribe you commit to the first month's minimum fee and your
usage. And since there are not any long-term contracts, you
may also cancel your service at anytime.
