Spring '08 Highlights
The 3PL Warehouse Manager Spring '08 Release
was driven entirely by customer input, with all new features being
developed in collaboration with 3PL Central subscribers. Since enhancements
are included in regular monthly subscription fees, all 3PL Central
users have immediate access to these business-growing features without
the need to pay costly software upgrade fees.
Key 3PL Warehouse Manager Spring '08 features
include:
- Billing Wizard™ Enhancements
for System-Generated Recurring and Split-Month Storage Charge
Billing 3PLs can now automate the burdensome
and time-consuming task of calculating and billing their customers'storage
fees. 3PL Warehouse Manager's automated Billing Wizard now supports
both system-calculated split-month billing (taking into consideration
free day periods) and monthly recurring storage charges.
- Advanced 3PL EDI Support for Automated
Communications with 3PLs, EDI Service Providers and Directly with
3PL Customers
3PLs can now increase order-handling
capabilities - while virtually eliminating data input errors
- with support for X12 (940/945), fixed-position flat file and
XML EDI integration.
- Retail Distribution UCC-128 Label
Support
Public warehouses can supplement service
capabilities with retailer-compliant UCC-128 labeling for all
major retailers including Wal-Mart, Target, and Costco.
- FedEx Ship Manager Integration
Seamless integration with FedEx Ship
Manager allows transfer of package details to FedEx and the
return of freight charges and tracking numbers. This allows
subscribers to handle a higher volume of parcel shipments with
less data entry errors and greater worker efficiency.
Additional product enhancement include:
- Support for International 3PL and Warehouse
locations including address and automatic International date/
time coding of transactions
- Ability to Import Receipts from Excel/CSV
files
- Option for the mandatory entry of a location
on a receipt
- New "Inventory Turns" and "Number
